Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. Residence
With its impeccable blend of historic charm and modern setting, this 1912 historic home proved challenging due to the very limited budget and tight time frame. Ultimately however, that led to great creativity with existing furnishings and problem solving many obstacles that come with working on historic homes. Original architectural features such as soaring ceilings, intricate crown moldings, and rich hardwood floors served as the backdrop for carefully curated furnishings and décor throughout the home.
In the end, this home offered a rare opportunity to experience the enchantment of the past while embracing the comforts of the present.

Drifts Office and Rooftop Patio
This general contractor’s office is the definition of ‘resimmercial’, combining elements of both residential and commercial spaces.
The goal for this company was to create a work environment that felt more like home, with a focus on comfort, flexibility, and a welcoming atmosphere, while still maintaining the functionality and efficiency required in commercial offices. We were tasked with furnishing the space, using the existing layout and floor finishes, including the amazing pink tile in the bathroom. We wanted this office space to feature comfortable furniture, soft lighting, and natural materials, such as wood and plants, to create a more relaxed and inviting ambiance; while at the same time incorporating elements that a working business needs such as an open floor plan, technology integration, and ergonomic furniture.
With the addition of the rooftop patio off the back of the building, employees at this company can enjoy the benefits of a balance between the comforts of home and the functionality of the office, in addition to the play aspects of the rooftop patio for outdoor lunches, team happy hours, and business development events.
In full, bringing together a variety of spaces that promote well-being, collaboration, and productivity among employees.
